Seahaven Business Awards 2020

The client

The Newhaven Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Seahaven Business Awards event, celebrating excellence in local businesses and organisations in the Seahaven area. Running for several years it has become one of the South Coast’s premier business awards events.

The challenge

The Newhaven Chamber of Commerce asked us to create and implement a fresh branding for the awards, something that would be applied across a number of media channels and at the event itself.

Solutions

When we originally picked up the design brief we wanted to shake things up a bit with a fresh design approach that would help to encourage people to apply for the first time each year, as well as bringing focus on the excellent work and award-winning people in the Seahaven area.

The resulting logo design reflects the star quality of the businesses and organisations that enter the awards each year, and the atmosphere and excitement of the awards ceremony itself. The marketing collateral utilises a gold, star studded theme along with a nod to the organising chamber with the combined use of their brand colours.

The new branding has significantly helped to raise the profile of the Seahaven Business Awards over the last year.

Brand assets include logo design, advertising, promotional leaflets and branded promotional items, event banners and static and animated digital social media assets.
